Notwithstanding statutory requirements, Metabo provides warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer's own country of residence, but in all cases for a minimum of 1 year , commencing from the date on which the machine is sold to the end user. The warranty covers defects in material and/or workmanship only. The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by authorised Metabo service centres. The warranty will not apply in cases of incorrect use (e.g. overloading of the machine or fitting nonapproved accessories), use of force, damage caused by external influences or foreign bodies (e.g. sand or stones), damage caused by nonobservance of the instructions for use (such as connection to an unsuitable mains supply or voltage or non-compliance with the installation instructions) and normal wear and tear. The warranty also does not cover machines, which have been partially or completely dismantled. The buyer is not authorised to assign his rights resulting from the Metabo warranty to third parties.

Metabo extends the warranty service as provided by the law for material and manufacturing defects voluntarily to %years% years, beginning from the date of purchase of the machine. You can make use of this warranty extension by registering your Metabo machine online within 4 weeks after your purchase. The registration can be effected by the specialist dealer and also by the buyer himself. At the end of the registration process you will be able to access your XXL warranty certificate. This certificate is the confirmation for your XXL warranty. When making a claim under the warranty, kindly send the XXL warranty certificate together with the original sales document/receipt and the defective tool to your Metabo service centre. The warranty extension is always machine-dependent, i.e. each purchased machine has to be registered as XXL machine. The buyer is not authorised to assign his rights resulting from the Metabo XXL warranty to third parties.

The processing (e.g. collection, transfer and usage) of the personal data serves solely for the justification and execution of the XXL warranty or for possible recall actions. The data is stored on the server of a service provider in Germany who is obliged to adhere to the Data Protection Acts. For this purposes, a data transfer to the server of the responsible Metabo sales subsidiary/importer may be effected. If a dealer registers products on behalf of the buyer, this data is also exchanged between the Metabo's server and the dealer. The dealers, importers and sales subsidiaries are obliged to process personal data in accordance with the law so that the respective data protection standards of Germany/ the target country are met.

The Full Service will be provided for new Metabo cordless tools (including Metabo battery packs and Metabo chargers) purchased from a participating Metabo LiHD partner merchant, if registered online within 4 weeks of purchase. Metabo voluntarily extends and supplements the statutory warranty for material and manufacturing defects, as well as wear and tear repairs, to a total of %years% years, as from the date of purchase. You can make use of this warranty extension by registering your Metabo cordless tools online no later than four weeks after purchase. At the end of the registration process, you will be provided with your Full Service certificate. This certificate serves as confirmation of Full Service. If a service is required, you must send the Full Service certificate together with the original sales receipt (till receipt) and the defective device to your Metabo Service Centre. The Metabo Full Service is always machine-dependent, i.e. every purchased machine must be registered as an Full Service machine. The buyer is not authorised to cede his/her rights arising from the Metabo Full Service to a third party.

You can change your mind about allowing us to use your information anytime or have your data corrected. The buyer can object to the processing of his data at any time by accessing his user account of the XXL warranty online, by email to xxlsupport@metabo.de or by writing to Metabowerke GmbH, D-72622 Nuertingen. The consent is voluntary and is not required for extending the warranty. Metabo reserves the right to delete your consent without further notice if you can no longer be reached under the saved address data (returns). This does not affect the registration of the machine.
